New Delhi: A Rajasthani woman was brutally assaulted on Monday with her hands tied to a tree-by her own sister and relatives over a property dispute.
The crime was reported from Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district where the victim was tied up to a tree, brutally assaulted by her own sister and other relatives while she begs for mercy, News Nation reported.
According to the police reports, the elder brother Maniram took the opportunity to torture the wife of his younger brother Dayaram when he left the village for some urgent work.
The two brothers were fighting over a property dispute said the police sources.
The victim was dragged by seven people including the victim’s own sister who is also her sister-in-law, minors, who had abused her at a farm in Nawalgarh area.
While the helpless mother was begging for mercy, her minor son cried watching the brutal assault on his mother.
The woman’s relatives used sticks and rods to assault the woman.
The Police has registered a case against seven people. The Police said the accused have fled since the incident.
The Nawalgarh police station SHO Surendra Singh said the victim had previously objected to farming by her sister’s husband on the property which had angered his family.
The assaulters will soon be arrested and subjected to appropriate punishment said the SHO.
