Jaipur, April 04: Rajasthan has seen a decline in sex ratio among children in the 0-6 age group in the provisional 2011 Census report, an official said today.
The sex ratio which was registered at 909 in 2001 Census has slipped to 883 in 2011, Director of the State census department Subhra Singh told a press conference here.
The sex ratio has also been in a downward curve since the 1981 Census, she said, adding that only 9 districts have the ratio of 900 this year as compared to 23 districts in 2001 Census.
