Rajasthan Royals favorite against Delhi DareDevils tomorrow

Jaipur, April 11: Rajasthan Royals are favorite against Delhi DareDevils in their IPL-4 match tomorrow at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium.

IPL-1 champion Royals morale was very high after winning their opening match while Delhi lost its opener.

Rajasthan had good track record at their home ground and winning most of the game here. The forme champion Royals made a flying start in this season by winning the opener.

Royals had good batting line up like Swapnil Asnodkar, Johan Botha, new face of Royals Rahul Dravid, three consecutive century struck for the Ranji champion Rajasthan Ashok Menaria and Amit Paunikar are the good batsmen of Royals.

Botha shone against Deccan Charchers by hitting unbeaten 67 while Siddartha Trivedi, Amit Singh did well against former champion Hyderabad taking three wickets each while Shane Warne two for 21 and Menaria is also a useful spinner.

But New Zealander Jacob Oram, who replaced Pual Collingwood is injured and whether he will play or not will be clear by tomorrow.

On the other hand, Delhi DareDevils are led by sensational batsman Virendra Sehwag. Unmukt Chand, Aaron Finch, Naman Ojha and Venugopal Rao are also good batsmen, who have the capacity to make good scores while Team India discard all-rouner Irfan Pathan, Roloef van der Merwe, Morne Morkel and Ashok Dinda are good bowlers.

But Delhi disappointed in their first match against last year’s runners-up Mumbai thrashing by eight wickets at their home ground.

Their batting line-up collapsed after Sehwag’s departure. Besides Sehwag, only Naman Ojha and Rao could reach double figures.

Remaining batsmen failed to make the double figure mark.
