Jaipur: Two persons drowned in the Anasagar Lake near the Ajmer Sharif Dargah today after they slipped into its deep waters, police said.
Rashit (26) and Ateeq (22), residents of Hatwara, had gone to offer prayers at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah and subsequently, they went to the lake to take a bath, Assistant Sub-Inspector Himmat Singh said.
They slipped into its deep waters and drowned, he said
Rashit’s body has been found and it has been kept at the JLN Hospital in Ajmer. Search and rescue teams are yet locate Ateeq, the officer said.
