Jodhpur, August 26: Advocates of the Rajasthan High Court here have decided to start hunger strike from tomorrow after calling one-day city bandh yesterday.
The advocates of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur bench, which is the main bench of the court, have been agitating since August 13, to save the main bench from further split, as politicians and advocates from Udaipur were demanding to open a circuit bench of the court in Udaipur.
President of the Rajasthan High Court Advocates Association, Ranjit Joshi said that they will not withdraw this movement unless assured that the demand of Udaipur bench will not be entertained under any circumstance.
He said, “We have already started an indefinite strike from August 17 and will not hesitate to intensify it further by resorting to the hunger strike.
