After Soha and Irrfan, veteran Bollywood actor, and now MP, Raj Babbar has been roped in to play a key role in ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns’.
The actor MP, who was last seen to essay the role of a narcotics officer in the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Bodyguard’, will play the father of Soha Ali Khan’s character in the sequel of ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’, the producers of the film said.
Talking to UNI, Rahul Mittra of Brandsmith Motion Pictures, the producers of ‘SBG Returns’ said a chance meeting with the actor MP on a flight recently led him to rope him in the role, which is one of the key roles in the sequel.
‘I met up with Raj Babbar after many years recently on an Air India flight from Delhi. Before the flight landed in Mumbai, I knew I had found ‘Bunny,’ Soha’s dad in the film.
He’s a very dedicated actor and has worked hard on his look and costumes. Audiences will love him in my film,’ Rahul Mittra said.
Rahul, along with the cast and the crew of ‘SBG Returns’, is shooting for the film at Devgarh Baria .
A sequel to last year’s successful film ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’, ‘SBG Returns’, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, stars Irrfan Khan, Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Soha Ali Khan, Raj Babbar, Pravesh Rana and Deepraj Rana.
