Chandigarh: Rains lashed many places in Punjab and Haryana today.
Chandigarh also received light showers this morning, a MeT Department official said.
Patiala, Ropar, Ludhiana, Faridkot, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar and Mohali were among other places in Punjab that received rain.
In Haryana, Ambala, Yamunanagar and Panchkula received light showers, he said.
Both the states had received heavy rains a few days back, causing damage to crops at some places.
