New Delhi, March 05: Delhiites woke up to a pleasant morning following traces of overnight rainfall in several areas of the city but the mercury remained well above the normal for this time of the season. The minimum temperature was recorded four notches above normal at 17.5 degrees while maximum peaked to 31.9 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours, which is also five degrees above normal.
The maximum has been recorded at over 30 degree Celsius over the past few days. The Met office said several areas of the city experienced traces of rainfall last evening but it did not bring down the temperature significantly.
The maximum humidity in the last 24 hours touched 77 per cent, while the minimum was recorded at 40 per cent. The maximum temperature tomorrow is expected to hover around 31 degree C and the minimum at 17 degree C, the Met office said and forecast a mainly clear sky with no possibility of rainfall.
