New Delhi: Delhi has got relief from scorching heat after the rainfall on Sunday. People at India gate, who sell eatables packed their stuff as the rain showered on them.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning, a notch above normal, said a MeT department official. They were expecting rainfall by Sunday evening, reported ht.
“There would be partly cloudy sky on Sunday with a possibility of thunderstorm and rain,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had said earlier.
A maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius was predicted by the weathermen and the humidity at 8:30 am was recorded at 46%.
Saturday recorded a maximum and minimum temperatures of 38.7 and 28.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
