Srinagar: The weather office on Sunday said that moderate rain and snow was likely to occur in Jammu and Kashmir in the next 24 hours.
“Snowfall in the higher reaches is likely to disrupt connectivity between the Kashmir Valley and outside,” a Met Department official said.
The minimum temperatures in Leh, Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg on Sunday were minus 5.5 degrees Celsius, minus 0.4, minus 3 and minus 6.3, respectively.
Jammu city recorded 7.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 8.2, Batote 3.2, Bannihal 1.5 and Bhaderwah 0.7 as the night’s lowest temperatures.
