Chandigarh, February 14: A few places in Punjab and Haryana were Monday lashed by rains but the minimum temperature continued to hover a few degrees above normal range.
Chandigarh was lashed by rains with the minimum temperature settling at 15.2 deg C, seven above normal, the MeT said here.
In Haryana, Ambala received light showers and the low settled at 14.5 deg C, up six degrees. Hisar registered a minimum of 14.3 deg C, also up six notches.
Gurgaon registered a low of 14 deg C, up seven notches, while the low at Karnal was also 14 deg C, up five degrees.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a low of 10.2 deg C, four above normal, while the low at Patiala was 13.8 deg C, up six notches.
Ludhiana, too, had an above normal minimum at 12.4 deg C, five above normal.
Rains also lashed a few places in Punjab, including Mohali and Patiala.
