Dubai, April 19: Dubai, Sharjah and other parts of the UAE experienced light to heavy showers accompanied in some places by loud thunder and lightning.
Met officials also suggested a possible dip in minimum temperature over the next couple of days, dropping from current 28 degree Celsius to 25 degree Celsius by Tuesday.
“Conditions have been cloudy in some internal and coastal areas of the UAE and strong winds are likely to move those clouds over the coastal areas of the UAE.
Motorists have been warned to drive cautiously in bad weather after a sudden squall whipped up sands in the UAE and caused light rain inland.
While the sea conditions will remain mostly stable, fishermen have been urged to take precautions as they might come across intermittent spells of rough weather.
