Coal mining in the Singareni Open Cast mines has been stopped due the heavy rains in the past two days in the State. Coal production was halted in Manuguru, Kothagudem and Illendu open cast mines due to heavy rain.
Singareni officials said that about 5,000 tons of coal production was halted in GKOC in Kothagudem area due to the heavy rains. (NSS)
