New Delhi, Jun 13: To facilitate movement of devotees from different parts of the country to Ajmer Sharif for the 798th Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddun Chishti, the Railway Ministry will run several special trains from 18 different locations.
These Urs special trains would run between June 14 and 25 from 18 major cities, including metros such as Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
The intiative comes in the wake of Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee taking keen interest in planning of these special trains for the convenience of lakhs of devotees visiting Ajmer Sharif for the annual Urs, a Railway press release here said today.
“One of these special trains has been specially planned between Delhi and Ajmer for the Zayreen coming from Pakistan,” it said.
