New Delhi, April 14: In the backdrop of the stepped up effort to rope in private investment for expanding and augmenting its infrastructure, Railways will hold an interactive session Chambers of Commerce and Industry here on April 17.
The session will deliberate on the draft proposals for development of various railway-related projects through public private partnership and highlight an overview of Railways policy with regards to roping in private investment, said a senior Railway Ministry official.
The interaction session is expected to deliberate on issues like the proposed automobile and ancillary hubs to be set up across the country, development of private freight terminal and laying of rail tracks with private participation.
The industry is also expected to raise the issue of non-availability of adequate number of wagons after several business houses expressed their concern over the issue.
