Hyderabad, April 09: The 56th railway week celebrations will be held across Indian railways from April 10 to 16 in commemoration of the first train run on Indian soil on April 16, 1853 from Bombay to Thane.
As part of these celebrations, SCR will hold the ‘Railway Week Award Function’ on April 11 at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda, Secunderabad. M.S Jayanth, general manager, SCR will give away GM’s Annual Awards to 284 officers and staff for their meritorious services.
He will give away efficiency shields to best performing divisions and workshops.
R Vijaya Mohan, additional GM, SCR will preside over the function.
Railway Week Celebrations will also be held at all divisional headquarters..
