Rahul Urged To Talk To Jagan

Hyderabad, July 20: The Congress MLA, Dr P Shankar Rao, has urged the AICC general secretary, Mr Rahul Gandhi, to hold talks with the Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, as he was holding talks with the young MLAs of the State in New Delhi.

Speaking to the media at the CLP office here on Monday, Dr Shankar Rao praised the efforts of Mr Rahul Gandhi to strengthen the party while refusing Prime Ministership twice.

Dr Shankar Rao exuded confidence that the people in the state would cast their votes to the Congress to ensure the win of all the 42 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 elections. He said that the youth, irrespective of parties, were favouring Mr Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister in 2014. Mr Rahul Gandhi, youth icon, was very simple and made three consolation tours without any publicity.

The former minister demanded that the UPA chairperson, Ms Sonia Gandhi, and the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, to ensure justice to the State regarding the Babli issue. He also opined that Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra states were like two eyes of Ms Sonia Gandhi and hoped that she would take care of the issue.
