Before making such an irresponsible remark Rahul Gandhi should have read the history of Ikhwanul Muslimeen. Then he would have known that Iskhwanul Muslimeen was not founded because it wanted the establishment of an Islamic government in a country. The founder of Ikhwanul Muslimeen Hassan al-Banna wanted to unite the Muslim community which was disintegrated as a result of First World War.
Ikhwanul Muslimeen was against Arab Nationalism which was promoted by Britishers. Ikhwan leaders wanted that all Muslims whether Turkish, Egyptians, Kurdish, Irani, Afghani, Pakistani and Arab should be identified as just Muslims. Ikhwanul Muslimeen wanted to establish democracy by ousting puppet governments ruling Muslim countries and military dictators from power. The organisation didn’t make violence its manifesto; it never said other communities have no right to live in Muslim countries.
It is surprising, what similarity did Rahul Gandhi find in RSS and Muslim Brotherhood.
