Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi visit Bardoli region in Gujarat.
Bardoli, around 35 km from the diamond capital of Surat, is famous for a ‘satyagraha’ by farmers in 1928 which was led by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Gandhi will also visit the historic Swaraj Ashram dedicated to the Bardoli Satyagraha and is a major tourist attraction.
Later, he is scheduled to address a public meeting at the Murari Bapu grounds here and is expected to take on Modi on his own turf.
