Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will visit the University of Hyderabad on Friday night to join the students who are protesting against the suicide by Rohit Vemula, the Dalit research scholar. This will be Rahul Gandhi’s second visit to the UoH in less than 12 days.
According to sources, Rahul Gandhi will reach Hyderabad by a special flight on Friday night and drive down straight to the university where he will spend the night with other students. He will participate in an event being organised by students to mark birthday of Rohit Vemula on Saturday. (INN)
