Hyderabad: Ridiculing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that both were ‘re-designing’ specialists, AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi said that Modi indulging in ‘re-designing’ in Delhi whereas KCR was indulging in ‘re-designing’ in Telangana State. Both were looting crores of rupees in the name of ‘re-designing’, he alleged and said that KCR was extending his support to the ‘re-designing’ of Modi—demonetization of big notes and GST.

Addressing the ‘Vidyarthi-Nirudyoga Garjana’ public meeting held at Saroor Nagar Stadium Grounds here on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi alleged that Modi government waived off the loans of rich people but not the loans of farmers. Modi government has allotted Rafale contract to inexperienced Anil Ambani Company. Modi gave crores of rupees gift to Anil Ambani in the name of Rafale deal, he slammed and said that Modi failed to answer to his question on this issue. “France Prime Minister told me that there was no secret in regard to Rafale deal. But our Defence Minister was stating that it is a secret. I am ready for debate on Rafale deal at any place”, Rahul challenged.

Rahul alleged that Modi broke the backbone of the small time businessmen in the form of demonetization and GST. He assured that he will simplify the GST after Congress party coming to power. The Congress party will remove the five slabs and introduce single slab after coming to power, he cleared. Lashing out at the Modi, Rahul said that the prices of petrol and diesel were increasing though the prices of crude oil were decreased in the international market. Modi was benefiting the big businessmen with his policies, he pointed out.

Demanding that the State government provide beneficial prices to the crops of the Telangana farmers, Rahul Gandhi alleged that Modi failed to fulfill his own word made before the elections that he will increase the minimum support price of crops and now after four years Modi allocated Rs 10,000 crore for the increase of minimum support price. He said the Congress party fulfilled its assurance of waiving off the farmers’ loans in Karnataka. He said the Karnataka government waived off Rs 31,000 crore loans of farmers.

Finding fault with Modi’s slogan ‘Beti Bachao—Beti Padavo’, Rahul Gandhi said Modi has forgotten the fact to tell that from whom to protect the girl child where rapes were increasing in Uttar Pradesh. He said that BJP MLA looks as rapist where rape was took place in Bihar and BJP leaders could roam where rapes were took place against children in Bihar. He asked Modi to protect the girl child from BJP MLAs and leaders.

Lashing out at the Prime Minister for not responding on the rapes against daliths and women, Rahul said that the Prime Minister has the responsibility of answering on the rapes being in a Prime Minister’s position. Making it clear that he didn’t come here to make fake assurances, Rahul said that he came to the state to realise the dreams of the people during the creation of separate Telangana state. He said not a single dream was fulfilled by the KCR government yet though the four years were gone.

He alleged that KCR, who assured that he will do justice to the Telangana activists, deceived the Telangana activists. The people of Telangana fought for the sake of ‘water, funds and jobs’ were remained as same even in Telangana state. It was painful that the dreams of Telangana children were not fulfilled, he said. KCR stated during elections that there were 1 lakh jobs were vacant, he reminded and questioned KCR to tell as to where gone the 1 lakh jobs. KCR remained silent even 4000 farmers were committed suicide, he alleged and said that KCR was looting the state in the name of projects. He alleged that KCR was weakening the fees reimbursement scheme and didn’t filled 10,000 jobs even after four years. (NSS)
