New Delhi: Cutting across party lines, political leaders took to Twitter to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 65th birthday.
“Best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modiji on his birthday,” tweeted Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor wrote a quirky message and said that he would continue to disagree with Prime Minister Modi.
“Happy Birthday @narendramodi . May you continue to serve India with energy and commitment. Will continue to disagree with your politics, but with respect!” tweeted Tharoor.
Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and National Conference leader
Omar Abdullah also took to twitter to wish him.
“Happy birthday @narendramodi ji. May God grant you a long life in the service of the nation,” he tweeted.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also greeted the Prime Minister.
“Greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji on his birthday. My prayers for his health and long life,” wrote Kejriwal.
Other leaders, including AAP’s Kumar Vishwas and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Poonam Mahajan, also wished the Prime Minister. (ANI)
