Jammu; Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, will interact with the farmers associated with the National Saffron Mission in Pulwama.
Rahul arrived in Balakote yesterday to meet the victims of Pakistan firing and visit the areas affected in the ceasefire violations.
Rahul had lengthy discussion with the civilians and the victims who were affected in the cross border shelling and spoke to them about their conditions.
Talking to the media later, Gandhi stressed that there should be a special insurance policy for the people living in border areas.
He also demanded from the Centre that the people affected by shelling should be given appropriate compensation for the loss of lives and property.
