New Delhi, Aug. 26 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday dubbed Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir as a photo opportunity.
“We find this absolutely unacceptable that Rahul Gandhi uses this visit to the border areas as a photo opportunity and also as an opportunity to attack the government at the Centre rather than speaking against continuous violation at the border by the Pakistani forces,” said BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao.
Another BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra echoing similar sentiments said it’s an irony that photo opportunity of Rahul Gandhi takes place in the border of the country.
The Congress vice-president today visited the areas hit by Pakistan shelling in Balakote and met victims of ceasefire violation. (ANI)
