‘Rahul Gandhi has rightly been called as an expert without knowledge’: BJP

New Delhi, Aug. 26: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has rightly been called as an expert without knowledge and added that his Jammu and Kashmir visit has exposed his attitude towards the nation.

Taking a jibe at Gandhi, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said the country does not take him seriously anymore.

“He has rightly been called as an expert without knowledge.. He tries to be expert in any issue but hardly has knowledge about any issue,” he added.

Patra said that it would have been better had the Congress vice-president taken Pakistan to task during his visit to the border area.

“As far as his visit to Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, it would really have been good if Rahul Gandhi would have visited the border as a Indian and would have asked the Pakistani Government about why Pakistan is doing such kind of activities as supporting terrorism, ceasefire violation,” Patra told ANI.

“But rather than taking Pakistan to task, what Rahul Gandhi does is from the border of India he questions the Indian Government, he questions the Indian Prime Minister. This in fact exposes Rahul Gandhi’s attitude towards India, attitude towards politics. The world is observing what kind of messages the Congress is sending across the world,” he added.

Patra further said the opposition is trying to gather some brownie points by challenging the Indian security system and issues on the border.

“This is absolutely appalling and in fact Rahul Gandhi has exposed himself,” he added.

The Congress vice-president today visited the Balakote sector along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district and interacted with the victims of recent Pakistani shelling there.

Talking to the media later, Gandhi stressed that there should be a special insurance policy for the people living in border areas.

He also demanded from the Centre that the people affected by shelling should be given appropriate compensation for the loss of lives and property. (ANI)
