Hyderabad, April 5 (NSS): All India Rahul Gandhi Brigade State president Mohd Shamshuddin has said the Brigade was formed to take the ideals of AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi to people.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Mohd Shamshuddin said already presidents for six districts have been appointed. He said the Brigade’s main aim was to take the ideals of Rahul Gandhi to the people and to see Rahul as Prime Minister of the country. He also said the Brigade would take up social service activities and would work in association with the Congress.
Shamshuddin said the Brigade activists would work as soldiers and strive to ensure victory of the Congress party. He also said they would celebrate former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary in a big way at Ravindra Barathi on June 19.
Brigade’s State general secretary B Umesh Babu, vice-president Tej Bahadur Batra and others were also present. (
