Rahul asks students to weed out corruption from politics

Chandigarh, August 27: Rahul Gandhi today interacted with students at some of Haryana’s prominent educational institutions encouraging them to weed out corruption from politics even as student wings of rival political outfits protested with one of them terming the visit as an attempt to politicize the community.

Commencing his day-long visit from Hissar where he addressed students at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), the young leader proceeded to Kurukshetra University to address a similar gathering there and later to Karnal where he met the youth on the campus of the National Dairy Research Institute.

Answering a question about corruption in the system at Karnal’s National Dairy Research Institute, he said it is not that everybody is corrupt but honest people also get embroiled in things they have not done at times, a student who attended the session declared out of bounds for the media, said.
