N Raghuveera Reddy, new president of residuary state of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee today said they put in efforts to win in the general elections.
Talking to mediapersons at the party headquarters Indira Bhavan here, Raghuveera said those who got tickets from the Congress will be campaigned for. “We will campaign for their win in the general elections. Since we need strength in the Assembly, the BCs should vote for leaders being chosen by the high command”, he said. The Congress is giving priority to the BCs for holding top posts both in the Congress party as well as in the government, he added. “Let us fight for winning most number of the seats and make sure that we will retain power”, Raghuveera maintained.(NSS)
