Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr N Raghuveera Reddy has appointed Mufti Mohamamd Farooq of Kadapa as the Chairman of AP Congress Minorities Department. He also appointed Ghouse Peer as the new Convener.
The fresh appointments were made during the meeting of Minorities Department leaders at Raghuveera’s chambers in Indira Bhavan here on Thursday. AP (united) Minorities Department chief Mohamamad Sirajuddin was also present in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Raghuveera Reddy said that the Congress party would take steps to ensure the development of minorities in education, economic and social sectors. (INN)
