The CPM State Secretary BV Raghavulu has said that it would be better for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to reconsider its decision to have electoral alliance with the BJP.
Speaking at a rally organized by the party here on Thursday, Raghavulu took the communal party – BJP to task for trying to ruin regional parties like the TDP. He called upon the people to support the left party candidates in the elections as they were known for honesty and protecting the interests of the people. He said that efforts were still on to bring unity among the left parties through negotiations.
The rally went round the main streets, the participants carrying the red flags. District party secretary Rama Devi, MLC Lakshmana Rao was among those who participated in the rally. (NSS)
