Hyderabad, September 04: Mr. Krishna Prasad,Addl. Director General of Police,A.P. advised the students of Muffakham Jah College Of Engineering not to induldge in ragging activites. Govt. of A.P. has imposed a ban on it. Any student involved in ragging will be arrested. It is such a stigma which can never be washed away Visa becomes impossible for such students. He was addressing the Freshers Day at M J college of Engineering. Mr. Khan Lateef Mohammed Khan, Chairman of the college presided over the function. He was pleased to hear that the college has improved its ranking from 74th to 51 which depicts the fact that the faculty of this college did not compromised on quality.
Mr. Khan Lateef Mohammed Khan told that Sultanul uloom Education Society is engaged in the field of education for the past 31 years. The college did not compromise on attendance and quality.
Mr. Zafar Javeed,Vice chairman of the college congratulated the students of first year who sought admission this year.
Dr. Basheer Ahmed, Principal of the college while presenting the report told that the college has 780 students on its rolls. There are 60 students in MCA and 72 students in M.E. Ten out of 18 Top rankers are from this college in B.E.
The students whose attendance was cent percent were felicilated. Ms. Ismath Zamani was presented a special award on her cant percent attendance. The anti ragging squad consisting of 300 Volunteers wearing shirts containing anti ragging slogans was giving a clear message of anti ragging to the freshers.
