Chandigarh, April 17: Radio cabs will start operating in Gurgaon, Faridabad and Panchkula in Haryana in the near future, Transport Minister Om Parkash Jain said here today.
The cabs will operate within a radius of 50-km, he said.
There will three categories of radio cabs — economy, luxury and super luxury, the Minister said.
Giving details of the scheme, he said the minimum fleet size per operator will be five cabs for Panchkula and 20 each for Gurgaon and Faridabad.
The cabs will be available 24 hours and seven days a week, he said.
