The Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday celebrations of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) will be celebrated across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on January 4.
The Central Ruiyat-e-Hilal Committee, which met here at Hussaini Building at Maozam Jahi Market, announced that the holy month of Rabi-ul-Avval has commenced as the crescent was sighted on Tuesday evening. Therefore, the Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated across the two States on January 4. Besides conducting a rally, several organisations including Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Majlis-e-Tameer Millat and others organise massive religious meetings on the occasion. (INN)
