Hyderabad, January 31: Qutub Shahi Mosque of Balapur which was demolished earlier was surveyed again jointly by the officials of Revenue and Wakf Board. Two weeks back it was demolished by land developers for converting it into plots.

Revenue officials are denying the existence of Khasra Pahani of the area pertaining to 1953. At the instance of Minister of Wakf Mr. Ahmedullah, the authorities of Revenue Department had agreed to conduct the joint survey of the property. On receiving the information of survey Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Shareef, President Secular Society and Vice President Mr. Murtuza Ali Iqbal, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Kareem, President, Qutub Shahi Minority Welfare Association observed the survey work.
A large number of local residents had also assembled on the location of the mosque.
