Panic prevailed in King Koti area last night when papers containing Quranic verses were found in the crackers exploded. The local Muslims registered their protest but police controlled the situation immediately.
According to the details, papers containing Quranic verses were found in the crackers which were exploded in the area. Receiving this news, Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khalid, MBT Corporator of Azampura Municipal Division approached Narayanguda Police Station and lodged a complaint against the miscreant. He further told that some miscreants hatch a conspiracy on the occasion of Dipavali with an intention to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city. He informed that in the past also such incidents have taken place but police has not taken any action to prevent such incidents. He demanded the police to take stern action against the culprit. ACP traffic, Mr. Vijayender who was on patrolling duty in the night told that police controlled the situation and increased its alertness. He assured that the miscreants would be punished soon.
