Quli Qutub Shah Polytechnic college lacks serious students

Quli Qutub Shah Polytechnic is the largest government college of the old city and one of its kind, where education and training are given to youth for job oriented courses. But the negative aspect of the positive measure taken by the government is that the students of old city especially Muslim students cannot benefit from the ITI college properly. It is not that the number of Muslim youth taking admission in it is less. But the problem is those Muslim students who have taken admission are not showing interest in the education and training provide by the college.

A social worker Syed Ashfaq says that we are prompt in criticizing the non performance of any government department but we do not avail benefits provided by the government in a proper way. Those who get seats are also not serious in learning instead they pass their time on cell phones, internet etc.

Muslim youth should avail the facility provided by the government where the training is imparted for fully job oriented courses.

With regard to lack of facilities in the college, the college lacks fans in the classes, there is scarcity of pure drinking water and the important one is lack of fencing. As a result of lack of fencing the college becomes hub of anti-social elements in the evenings.
