Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily released the booklet Question Bank for SSC English medium student at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat Office Complex. He felt happy that Muslim boys and girls are excelling in educational fields. Citing the example of Ms. Syeda Fatima who top SSC and Intermediate and she got gold medals. She has no Television Set in her house.
Lamenting on the standards of Govt. schools, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that Govt. has allocated less budget for education. It needs to be enhanced. He further told that in the past Aliya and Mehboobia schools were supposed to be standard ones but today the students are forced to sit on the floor. Dept. of Police collects Rs. 55 crore in a year as traffic fines and some of the police stations have been provided five star facilities.
Continuing his speech, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that the students should make use of Question Bank to get good grade. In the recent past, the result of Urdu medium schools has risen from 8% to 80%. He informed that every year, Siasat Urdu Daily prints Question Bank booklet containing 400 pages and distributes free. It will continue till the percentage of literacy reaches 100 on a par with Kerala State.
He advises the students to offer professional courses other than Engineering and Medicine. He told the students to make use of Career Counseling which is being offered by Siasat free.
Mr. V.L. Mastanaiah, Joint Director of Education applauded the efforts of Siasat Urdu and thanked it. He stressed the need for the students to ensure good grade by using this Question Bank. He informed that next year the syllabus is changing.
Speaking on this occasion, English Language Experts, Mr. Syed Hasanuddin Anas delivered a special lecture on English Accent and personality Development.
Mr. Ahmed Basheeruddin Farooqui, Rtd. Dy. DEO highlighted the various features of Question Bank Booklet. He told that Siasat Urdu Daily is preparing these Question Banks for the past 13 years and distributing it free which is producing good results. Mr. M.A. Hameed, Career Counselor proposed vote of thanks.
