(Siasat News) Govt. has appointed a Qazi for performing the marriages of Shia community of the Muslims. Ms. Neelam Sahani, IAS, Secretary to Govt., Dept. of Minorities Welfare issued G.O.Ms. No. 106, yesterday appointing Mirza Jaffer Husain Khilgi as the Qazi for Shia community. She issued a letter to District Minorities Welfare Officer, Hyderabad informing him that Mr. Khilgi, a resident of Nehru Nagar, Rain Bazar, has been appointed as Qazi. Govt. took a decision after reviewing the report submitted by District Minorities Welfare Officer.
