Pushkar works are inferior: DK Aruna

Alleging that the ongoing pushkar ghats works of Krishna Pushkaralu were not good, former Minister DK Aruna said that the government was completing the works in hurry with out proper plan.

 

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday along with MLA Sampath Kumar and others, DK Aruna alleged that toilets constructed for the Pushkaralu were being washed away. Several ghats were submerged in river water and at many places the works were not yet completed, she alleged. Reminding the works taken up by the then Congress government 2004, she said that those ghats were still in good condition. The present ghats works were not qualitative, she alleged and said that the TRS leaders were filling their packets with crores of rupees allocated to pushkar works. She also claimed that the government was showing discrimination in pushkar works and alleged that the Chief Minister was not giving an appointment to the opposition leaders. (NSS)
