Purandeshwari lists Modi’s achievements in two years

BJP leader and former Union minister Daggubati Purandeshwari today clarified that there was no question of going back on the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Purandeshwari said the Centre was giving special packages to the residuary Andhra Pradesh for its development after 14th Finance Commission has stated that special status to Andhra Pradesh was not possible. The States which are now under special status category will lose the status after 2017, she added.

The NDA government has many achievements during its two-year rule. “The common man did not see the door of banks after their nationalization. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made this possible after introducing Jan Dhan Scheme, Purandeshwari said. (NSS)
