Punjab: Police solves mysterious death of 12YO boy

Patiala: The Punjab Police have finally found solved the mysterious death of a 12-year-old boy who was found hanging from his house ceiling earlier this month turns out that it was not a suicide but was a murder.

It doesn’t end here, there is more to the story. The culprits have not only executed a murder but also raped the boy’s minor sister on June 15, Times now reported.

According to the police sources, the incident happened when the minor girl was at home and her brother was playing outside the home.

According to a report published in TOI, the three accused forcibly entered the boy’s home and took turns raping the minor.

When the boy was returning home he was surprised to find the main door to his house locked following which he jumped over the boundary wall of his house.

He was shocked to see the three accused, assaulting his sister. When the boy tried to raise an alarm he was strangulated to death by the three accused.

The three accused later hung his body to the house’s ceiling to make it look like a suicide case.

They also threatened the minor girl saying they would also kill her parents if she reveals about the incidents to anyone.

The parents who happen to be labourers discovered the boy’s body hanging and reported it to the Police.

The Police started probing the case after the parents refused to accept it was a suicide case.

It was after pressurizing the minor girl she revealed about the incident that led to her brother’s death.

Based on the girl’s statement, police have registered cases against the three accused, all aged in their 20s.

The Police have now launched a manhunt for the three absconding accused.

Several cases under relevant sections of the IPC for charges of rape, murder and criminal conspiracy and POCSO Act have been initiated.
