Terming the Seemandhra MPs’ action in the Lok Sabha as heinous, TRS floor leader Etela Rajender on Thursday demanded that stringent action be taken against them as per the law.
Speaking at the Assembly media point, Etela said life time ban should be imposed on unruly Seemandhra MPs, who went amuck in the House and also should be barred from contesting election to the Parliament till they live. Reminding that the T Bill was introduced in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha today, he felt that Telangana self-respect achieved victory finally. Today is a good day for Telangana people, he added.
He said the conspiracies hatched by Chief Minister and the Assembly Speaker against formation of Telangana state remained in vain. Telangana statehood issue has become a major subject in 13th Legislative Assembly of the State, he reminded. (NSS)
