Pune women faked their abduction to lead a happy life

Not Happy with their married life, three women from Pune allegedly faked their own abduction in the hope of starting afresh at a new place. The women, identified as Pratibha Hajare (25), Mangal Ingale (24), and Vidya khade (26)

All three are residents of Pune’s Hinjewadi locality. All three wer gone missing on November 28 and was intercepted by police at the Bhusawal junction, when they were returning from Surat.

The three women were brought back on December 4. While Mangala is a homemaker, Vidya and Pratibha work as private security guard. According to Siddharth Ingale, Vidya had asked his wife Mangala to accompany her to a doctor as she was not feeling well.

“At around 5 pm, we received a phone call from Vidya’s mobile. As I could not hear Mangala properly, I gave phone to Pratibha’s husband
Prakash who said that the women were crying out for help,” Siddharth told over the phone.

The three women complained that the driver of the car in which they were travelling was not lending his ear despite their pled,but before they divulge the information, the phone was disconnected.

Their mobile numbers were unreachable ever since,” Siddharth said.

According to senior officer S Bhosale,team were formed to launched a manhunt and the three women were rescued. The women disclosed that the three were not kidnapped and confessed that the ran out of their own wish and it was Prathiba who convinvced the other two.
