PUNE: Dressed in their traditional attire, thousands of Muslim women in Maharashtra’s Pune participate in a protest rally on Saturday against the Central Government’s triple talaq bill, which was passed in the Lok Sabha last year.
The protest was conducted under the flagship of Kuljamati Tanjim Sanghatana with guidance from the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB).
In the rally, women participated by huge number held placards, banners supporting personal law.

Speaking ti ANI news, a woman protesting against the bill said, “We demand no changes should be made to Muslim Personal Law. Humare Allah ne jo humare liye kanoon banaya hai woh humare liye bahut sahi hai. Ek time par teen talaq hai hi nahi, yeh logon ne galatfemi phelayi hai.”
