Mumbai, February 15: Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today lambasted Shiv Sena for saying that the Pune bomb blast was a result of the state government’s decision to divert all security for the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘My Name is Khan’.
MPCC spokesman Hussain Dalwai said the government had never withdrawn police personnel guarding the sensitive installations. The Sena’s accusation is a pack of lies, he added.
“Unfortunately, terrorists take advantage of the ‘internal terror’ unleashed by forces like Shiv Sena. We hope the Sena realises this. Violating law and order and fanning communal passions invite external forces to disrupt our entire system. Nobody denies their right to hold peaceful agitation within the framework of the Constitution,” Dalwai said.
