Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today promised that slum dwellers will soon get permanent housing facility in Warangal district. The Chief Minister who is touring the district made it to a few slums and interacted with residents of slums of their problems. Probably moved at their pathetic living conditions the Chief Minister announced to provide all the slum-dwelling people with one plus one pucca houses. Stating that grievances will be addressed in two days, KCR said that all the huts will be removed and they will get permanent hosues. Each house will get two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two latrines, continuous water and electricity supply better road connectivity and transport besides giving employment opportunities to the eligible. The city areas comprise Dalits, Muslims and Christians he said adding that soon officials will visit for speedy action. (NSS)
