Hyderabad: Agriculture & Marketing Minister S Niranjan Reddy today instructed the officials to provide basic facilities like drinking water, sheds for shade to farmers at IKP Centers an market yards. “Do not delay the process and provide all facilities”, he said.
Niranjan Reddy held a review meeting here with officials on procurement of farm produce in Summar. Since there might be lack of facilities, the officials should focus on them. Ensure in place drinking water and sheds at the market yards in towns and villages, he said. This will help the farmers to get relieved of scorching heat and relax, he said. Specially, the market yards in the villages do not have the facilities during summer. Focus on timely procurement and make payments immediately and provide all facilities to the farmers, he exhorted the officials concerned.
