Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today asked the doctors to provide best possible treatment to patients and take necessary steps to prevent the spread of swine flu.
During inspection of the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences here, the chief minister said that the institute should stress on enhancing its facilities so that patients arriving here from different parts of the state get benefited.
A UP government spokesperson said that the chief minister visited critical care medicine, dialysis unit and new OPD wards and also inspected the isolation ward meant for treatment of swine flu patients.
He also said that the UP government was committed to provide better health facilities to the poor.
The chief minister asked the doctors to optimally utilise the resources available in the hospital and not send the patients out unnecessarily to buy medicines or for tests.
