Prove allegations: Raje to Gehlot

Jaipur, December 26: BJP leader Vasundhara Raje today dared Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to take action against her party leaders whom he had accused of supporting the Gujjar stir in Rajasthan.

Hitting out at Gehlot for his allegations that BJP president Nitin Gadkari and party general secretary Raje were supporting the Gujjar agitation, she asked the Chief Minister to prove the charges.

Gehlot should take action if had evidence against the BJP leaders, Raje said in a statement here.

By levelling such allegations, the Chief Minister was trying to deflect attention from “failures” of his government, she said.

“If the state government has any evidence against me or our party president then prove it and take action,” Raje said.

Yesterday, Gehlot had accused Gadkari and Raje of supporting the Gujjar stir and disturbing law and order in the state.
