Protesting farmers at Ghazipur plant flowers where Delhi police installed nails

New Delhi: In a Gandhian response to severe policing, the protesting farmers at Ghazipur border on Friday planted flowers at places where Delhi police installed nailed barricades early this week.

Bigger plantation drive is underway, reports said. Rows of marigold flower plants were seen along the barricading at Ghazipur border on Friday evening.

The farmers, who have been protesting against the Central government’s farm laws for over two months now, have been subject to stringent security measures like multi-layered barricading, barbed wires and iron nails along the road stretch in wake of the violence that transpired in New Delhi on Republic Day.
